Fibre Based Photo Paper
When using your home or office inkjet printer it is important to make sure that you are using the right paper for the right job, you don’t want to use photo paper for a text document, nor do you want to use standard printing paper for your photos. With regards to printing high quality photos, you need to make sure that you are using the right photo paper in order for your photos to turn out the way you want.
If you are looking for top quality prints then fibre based photo paper is what you need. There are other types of photo paper available, but the results on fibre based photo paper compared to other types is like the finish on fine wood furniture compared to Formica with a faux wood effect.
Of all the companies producing quality inkjet photo paper, few have the reputation of Harman Technology. Harman Technology produces high quality photo paper at fair prices.
Purchasing fibre based photo paper isn’t quite as simple as looking for fibre based photo paper and buying it. There are numerous types of fibre based photo paper, each with its own properties that determine different end results. This range includes Harman Photo Professional Matt Mp and Harman Photo Professional Gloss Al amongst others.
Harman Photo Professional Matt Mp paper is an instant dry photo paper with a silica coating for improved archival performance. Harman know more than most that fibre base photo paper can be a pain to print with due to the way it curls when wet, this is why they have produced a special anti-curl system that ensures the prints remain flat after printing. On top of that, the baryta layer gives the prints greater detail and definition and an extended tonal range.
Harman Photo Professional Gloss Al paper is also an instant dry photo paper, but this variety has an Alumina coating that ensures a high degree of glossiness, optical image density and vibrancy. The Harman Photo Professional Gloss FB Al paper also features Harman's special anti-curl system and baryta layer that gives the look and feel of real photo paper.
If you aren't sure which type of fibre based photo paper you need, then Harman have produced a sample pack that contains 3 sheets of each of the fibre based photo paper available.
