Metamorfosi di un centro congressi
Le strutture del centro congressi sono una parte completamente indipendente del complesso monumentale di Villa Medici, in origine una villa-fattoria, tipica della Lombardia del '600, acquistata nel 1980 da Fernanda Giulini, diplomata al Conservatorio di Milano e figura importante dell'imprenditoria milanese. Sua l'idea di trasformare la villa in una casa museo per ospitare la sua preziosa collezione di antichi stru-menti a tastiera, riproponendo la tradizione settecentesca dei concerti in villa. Nel lussuoso centro congressi o negli spazi all’aperto di Villa Medici Giulini ogni evento trova l’ambientazione migliore.
Una location esclusiva e flessibile Il centro congressi di Villa Medici Giulini è composto da un insieme di lussuose sale e salette per sottogruppi, perfettamente insonorizzate e dotate delle attrezzature indispensabili all'attività convegnista, che offrono una grande duttilità di allestimento per adeguarsi alle varie tipologie di eventi. La Sala dei Cavalieri, lo spazio più ampio e funzionale, dispone di dotazioni hi-tech, tra cui uno schermo 250x280, videoproiettore, teleconferenza, traduzione simultanea in più lingue e lavagna luminosa. Può essere allestita a ferro di cavallo, a banchi di scuola e a platea, e accogliere fino a 120 persone. Questa sala convegno prende luce dalle finestre che, a nord, si affacciano sulle montagne del Lecchese e, a sud, su un incantevole giardino di rose. Anche la Sala dell'Organo Toscano, che deve il nome all'antico strumento che la impreziosisce,è molto spaziosa ed ideale per una disposizio-ne a ferro di cavallo, mentre l'adiacente Sala dell'Organo Napoletano, strumento che ha il registro degli usignoli, è adatta a coffee-break e a servizi di segreteria. Per i seminari residenziali, il centro congressi dispone di 20 camere lussuose, arredate in modo diverso una dall'altra tanto da trasmettere la percezione di trovarsi in un'antica dimora, rafforzando quell’alone di serenità di cui è permeato l'intero complesso. Infine in tutte le sale è disponibile la connessione Internet a banda larga, e a richiesta anche wireless.
Musica, gala e vitti rari per concludere con stile Anche le due splendide sale da pranzo della sala congressi Milano, collegate fra loro e arredate in modo omogeneo e lussuoso, possono essere allestite in maniera flessibile, per esempio a tavolo imperiale o a tavolo manageriale. Decorate da pitture a grisaille che raccontano la storia di Amore e Psiche, le sale sono adatte sia a piccole cene, con tavolo disposto al centro dello spazio, sia a ricevimenti importanti per oltre cento ospiti. Ma non è tutto. Anche il curatissimo giardino di Villa Medici Giulini può trasformarsi, durante un meeting, nello stupendo scenario di un ricevimento a cielo aperto. Particolarmente apprezzata dagli ospiti la cena di gala organizzata a conclusione di un evento. Realizzata con un menù molto ricercato, la cena è anche l'occasione di conoscere i pregiati vini di Gavi La Marchesa, una tenuta di proprietà della famiglia Giulini. Ecco allora Io Chardonnay Brut Doc, un spumante leggero per aperitivi e dessert, il Gavi Doc, adatto ad alimenti leggeri. il Monferrato Claret Doc, ideale per i piatti freddi e, infine, il Monferrato Rosso, un vino rosso rubino vinificato in un vero Chateau La Mar-chesa, perfetto con secondi piatti di carni bianche e rosse. Villa Medici Giulini può regalare altre emozioni. In occasione di un evento davvero eccezionale anche la conclusione è straordinaria: la villa, una realtà strettamente privata, apre i cancelli per offrire agli ospiti un seducente percorso nella musica con un concerto itinerante durante il quale vengono suonati diversi strumenti musicali della collezione, tutti in uno stato di conservazione praticamente perfetto.
