Line of sight is not required, but bear in mind that obstacles between the transmitter and receiver weakens the signal and the range becomes shorter.
Outdoor wireless speakers are generally weatherproof, but if you do not need to use your speakers outside all the time, rather store them inside. This will definitely extend the life of your valuable outdoor wireless speakers. If you have no option but need it outside all the time, try to find a place where it can be hidden from harsh weather conditions.
Unlike stereos, wireless speaker does not include two speakers and sold as single units. But you can purchase two speakers, though it will double the price.
The last but not least, a very important thing to notice is, wireless speakers use RF signals which may interfere with other RF devices. You should check that the frequency range is legal in your country. If you are buying it from a reputable dealer, then this should not be a problem.
